After a momentous trip to Petra in the 1970's, Dorothy "Chickee" Atalla developed a growing understanding of the Divine Feminine's role in our lives through intense study and recurring encounters during mediation with a presence identified as The Goddess. Chickee's series "The Goddess Speaks" reveals what The Goddess of her meditations had to say to us all about the evolution of consciousness.
Sacred Places and the Return of The Goddess
"Petra is a sacred place. It will be a renewed place in the age now coming. It will become green again. The High Place on the Attuf Ridge is a site of great power. Subtle celestial forces of tremendous power are drawn to this place."
"The Great Goddess is returning here. Petra will again become a place sacred to many people as the home of the Great Goddess. The feminine is rising to restore balance, but this is not merely a recurring cycle. This time a new reality will emerge, completely transcending the old yin/yang cycle. This new cycle will span 26,000 years."
"The mountain on which the High Place of Petra sits is a cosmic power point. This power point has always been part of earth, but it is during this new planetary cycle that it has become activated. Indeed, this power point is initiating the next 26,000 year planetary cycle. This power point was not active during the life of the slave woman Zillah, though the High Place was known to be a sacred place."
Role of the Power Point
"A power point is a location which acts as an interface between two dimensions: cosmic energy flows and earth's energies. Such a geographical point is part of an invisible field. The field acts as receiver for cosmic energy flows, and the power point acts as a transducer of these energies to suit earth's needs."
"This particular power point is at present the most important one in the earth, as it is triggering the next cycle of planetary evolution. Now, this has happened many times in the course of earth's evolution when other power points were the more prominent and active ones. However, very early in the planet's life there was no human consciousness to be aware of this, not as there has been since humankind was present on earth. Some power points, such as Machu Picchu, were activated when humans were on earth. They were known by humans."
Those sensitive people who happen to come across a power point can stand between the worlds, can be in one dimension and contact another dimension."
Sacred Places as Womb of New Consciousness
"Petra as power point is a womb for a new birth of consciousness. The old energies of the planet provide a seed-bed, which the new celestial energies fertilize; they blend and form a new reality, a divine child. Earth is divinely prepared for this appointed time. Human beings must realize that the dark earth-womb, seed-bed for life, is spiritual in nature, and sacred."
"The dark earth energies will transmute as they encounter celestial energies, but this can occur only in the presence of human consciousness. This is possible because human consciousness yokes together light and dark within itself. Human consciousness is not separate from the light and dark aspects of planetary existence. Also, human consciousness can transmute the light and the dark into a new reality; but to do so, it needs to stay in touch with earth forces, and not reach only toward celestial ones as it has been won't to do."
"The "new birth of consciousness" is what the phrase implies. It is an evolutionary change for humankind and the planet, in which human consciousness shifts from an old way of thinking to a new way of thinking, from an old paradigm for living to a new paradigm for living."
"The new birth is also the 26,000 year planetary cycle during which this new world view will prevail. The new birth will not be only a means of rebalancing what has been an imbalance in relationship of masculine and feminine, yin and yang, light and dark. It will be also a new reality, for reference to the feminine as primary in importance will not be the same as it was in the old societies of the goddess."
